In the early 1970's, Lutheran Pastor Arnie Jergenson resigned from his secure pastorate of Vinalnd Lutheran Church in Poulsbo to pioneer a new non-denominational church -Faith Fellowship. A few close members of Vinland Lutheran stood with him in the new venture. These folks routinely attended World Map Camp, held each summer at Warm Beach Camp near Stanwood, WA. This gathering brought Christians from various parts of the world to share what God was doing in the charismatic renewal throughout His church. It is in this context that Faith Fellowship made its first commitment to support two young evangelists from India.
Th ministries we support have been chosen through personal friendships with missionaries, Faith Fellowship participants who have answered God's call to missions, and those we sought in order to give us broader exposure. Plus, many of our church youth participate in short-term mission trips each year. The value of these trips is in the mission exposure to our youth, who often have become strong supporters of missions as a result of their mission experience.
By God's awesome provision and the faithfulness of the people at Faith Fellowship, we are often able to distibute thousands of dollars each year to support the missionaries we partner with.
